Why is children's storytelling so important?
Storytelling provides children with a window to new worlds. It gives them the opportunity to learn new ideas and information; without realising it, they are learning valuable life lessons through hearing an engaging, exciting story. As children listen to stories it helps to develop their imaginations, their verbal proficiency and listening skills, and encourages creativity and team spirit.
