About The Story Case
Once upon a time ...
My name is Leonora, and my love for children's storytelling came about by chance a few years ago when I happened to be the right person, in the right place, at the right time!
I was project managing the opening of the largest toy store in Dubai, and a children's storyteller booked for the event was a no-show! With only 40 minutes until showtime, an unhappy client, and a stressed-out events team, I had to take matters into my own hands. I quickly familiarized myself with the story, the characters, and how to bring them to life through vocal acting.
The event turned out to be a huge success, and with it began my love for children's storytelling. Ever since, I've taken my storybooks to all types of events, touching the lives of young children and bringing them joy through popular fairytales, while delivering an experience they will never forget.
"The more children's storytelling I did, the more I realised that even though my young audience could hear the story,
they could not see and visually experience the story.
I wanted to change this."
And so...
The Story Case was born
As my audiences grew larger, I found that even the largest printed books were not big enough for all the children to see images and characters.
My passion to create emotions during storytelling and inspire my young audiences' imagination led me to develop my story telling with a custom-built "story case". It travels with me and is full of surprises!
